Under the Hood: An Evening at the Seal Cove Auto Museum

Join the MDI Historical Society and Seal Cove Auto Museum for a behind-the-scenes look at one of the island's most unique museums. Discover how a private car collection became a public museum, meet the people who keep it running today, and explore the island history these vehicles helped inspire and shape.

This casual event will offer three short presentations throughout the museum allowing guests to move through the exhibits while learning from our presenters about the connections between automobile history and the stories of Mount Desert Island. Enjoy drinks and hors d'oeuvres, wander among the vehicles, and uncover MDI's fascinating past.
