The Sullivan-Sorrento Historical Society will welcome Dr. Patrick Callaway for a virtual discussion of the complicated war years in the disputed frontier of Downeast Maine, including the British plans for New Ireland. Look at local history through the British and Loyalist lens as we kick off the 250th anniversary of America's founding.

Dr. Callaway is a lecturer with the University of Maine History Department and Collections Manager at Mount Desert Historical Society.
