Are you a master of historical trivia, a fan of maritime stories, or a novice know-it-all? Join us at 5:30 pm on Friday, February 21 at Peekytoe Provisions, 244 Main Street, Bar Harbor, for the MDI Historical Society’s History Happy Hour with special guests from the Jesup Memorial Library.
February’s event will challenge you to 7 rounds of marine-themed trivia, testing your knowledge of seafood and sealife and the fishing industry that has supported Mount Desert Island inhabitants for centuries. Brush up your knowledge of the sea in song and literature, historic fishing gear, and the sights and sounds of the sea, then gather over good eats and good times while putting your knowledge to the test. All ages are welcome! Admission is free. Food and drink will be available for purchase.
